About the game
Letter Catcher is a cheerful letters-and-words game for children who are just starting to read. A small picture and its name appear at the top of the screen: short, familiar words like cat, bee, ball, bird, fish, sun, star, cloud or car. Letters fall from the sky inside colorful bubbles. Slide your friendly basket left and right to catch the letters of the word in the right order. The next letter you need glows yellow on the card and is also written underneath, so you always know what to look for. When the right letter lands in the basket it turns green, and when the word is complete, confetti bursts and you earn bonus points. Catch a wrong letter and you lose a heart; when all three hearts are gone the game is over. With each new word the letters fall a little faster. In English mode you get English words, and in Turkish mode you get Turkish words with letters such as Ç, Ş and Ü. It is a fun way to practice letter recognition, spelling order and focus.
