About the game
Merge Turrets combines a merge puzzle with a hard-hitting sci-fi tower defense on a single screen. At the bottom you have a 5x4 bay of turret mounts; spend credits to deploy new turrets and drag two of the same level together to forge a stronger weapon. You start with autocannons, then move up to railguns that fire cyan beams, guided missile pods, plasma cannons and finally tesla towers that throw arcs of lightning, with more barrels and a brighter energy core at every tier. Armored walkers, fast drones, tracked tanks and rare gold bots march down five lanes, and every 10th wave a heavy mech stomps toward your shield. Hits throw sparks and damage numbers, destroyed robots burst into scrap and smoke, and big explosions shake the screen. When you feel ready, switch on HARDCORE in the armory: robots arrive tougher and faster, you earn double chips, and your best wave is tracked separately. When the shield breaks, spend your chips on permanent upgrades such as damage, fire rate, shield strength and starting credits. Your progress is saved on your device, and the game is free to play with no download or sign-up.
How to play
- Tap BUY TURRET at the bottom to deploy a new turret on an empty mount.
- Drag two turrets of the same level onto each other to forge a stronger weapon.
- Turrets fire on their own; the number on each robot is its remaining armor.
- Robots that reach the shield weaken it, and a heavy mech arrives every 10th wave.
- When the shield breaks, spend chips on permanent upgrades in the armory, or switch on HARDCORE for double chips.
Controls
Touch: tap BUY TURRET, then drag turrets with your finger and drop them on a turret of the same level; the bottom-left button auto-merges, the ×2 button speeds up the game, and in the armory you tap the HARDCORE switch. Keyboard: move around the grid with the arrow keys or WASD, pick up and drop a turret with Space / Enter, B buys, M auto-merges, F toggles speed, in the armory 1-5 buy upgrades, H toggles hardcore and Enter starts the battle, P pauses.

FAQ
Is my progress saved in Merge Turrets?
Yes. Your best wave, your hardcore best, chips, armory upgrades and unlocked weapons are saved on your device. Every run starts with an empty grid, but permanent upgrades make you stronger each time.
What does HARDCORE mode change?
In HARDCORE, robots have 60 percent more armor, move 22 percent faster and arrive more often. In return you earn double chips at the end of a run and your best wave is kept as a separate record. You can switch it on or off anytime from the armory.
Do I have to watch ads?
No. When your shield breaks you can optionally watch an ad to repair it once; if you don't want to, press Finish and collect your chips. There are no random loot boxes, wheels or waiting timers.
