About the game
Penalty Kick is a tense penalty shootout played in a packed night stadium under blazing floodlights. You take turns shooting and keeping goal. To shoot, swipe from the ball toward the goal: the direction picks the corner and the swipe length sets the power, so strike too hard and the ball may hit the post or fly over. As the keeper, guess the corner your rival will choose and tap that part of the goal. Both choices stay hidden and are revealed at the same moment, so every kick is a real mind game. If it is level after five kicks each, sudden death begins. Play against the computer, or take turns with a friend on the same phone. Online, invite a friend with a room code or invite link and play the same live shootout from different devices and even different cities; without a friend, Find a world opponent matches you with someone searching at the same time. The host device resolves every kick, so both players always see the same score, and a rematch starts when both of you ask for it. There is no chat, only quick reaction icons.
How to play
- Pick a mode: vs computer, 2 players on this device, online with a friend or a world opponent.
- When it is your shot, swipe from the ball toward the goal; direction picks the corner, length sets the power.
- When you are the keeper, tap the corner you will dive to; choices are hidden and revealed together.
- If it is tied after five kicks each, sudden death begins; more goals wins.
- After an online match press Rematch; a new match starts when both players press it.
Controls
Touch: to shoot, swipe from the ball toward the goal; to save, tap the corner of the goal you will dive to. Keyboard: when shooting, aim with ←/→, hold Space to build power and release to strike; as keeper, pick a corner with the arrow keys or WASD. After an online match, Enter or Space asks for a rematch. FAQ
Can I play with a friend on different devices?
Yes. Press Play, choose Play with a friend → Create room and send the 5-letter code or the invite link. Your friend joins from their own device, even in another city, with Join with code, and you take turns shooting and keeping goal.
Can my opponent see my choice?
No. The shooter's and the keeper's choices stay hidden; once both have chosen, the result is shown on both screens at the same time.
How do I score a penalty?
Aim for the corners with medium power; very hard shots drift. Watch the keeper's earlier dives and pick the other corner.
Is the game free?
Yes, it is free and runs in your browser with no download or sign-up.
