About the game
Skyscraper Jetpack Climb is a vertical climbing game set on the outside of a giant tower under construction at midnight. You control an armored climber in a helmet with a jetpack on their back. Every time the jetpack touches a steel girder it fires on its own with an orange flame and launches you upward; your job is to drag left and right or use the arrow keys to land on the next girder. Leave one side of the screen and you come back in on the other. Lift platforms with blue thrusters slide back and forth, rusty scaffold planks collapse the first time you land on them, and yellow and black launch pads blast you up several floors at once. As you climb, red-eyed patrol drones appear: land on top of one and it explodes, giving you points and an extra bounce, and back to back hits grow your multiplier, but hit one from the side or below and the run is over. Cyan energy cells give bonus points. City lights and searchlights drift past in the background, the sky darkens as you rise, the girders get narrower and moving platforms become more common. Missing a girder and falling ends the run. Play free on phone, tablet and computer with no download.
How to play
- The climber bounces by itself; steer by dragging or with the arrow keys.
- Leave one side of the screen to come back in on the other, a handy shortcut.
- Rusty planks collapse; yellow and black pads launch you very high.
- Land on drones from above to blow them up, never hit them from the side or below.
- Collect energy cells and climb as high as you can without falling.
